The harmonium has 3 1/2 octaves (42 keys) and two rows (Bass + Male) of quality brass Ratilal Jivanlal Mistri "First Class" Palitana reeds (see pictures). The reeds produce a recognizably warm oriental atmosphere (see video).
The harmonium has a built-in left-coupler option like a scale-changer harmonium. With the coupler turned on, the harmonium produces a rich and powerful sound like much more expensive harmoniums with 4 rows of reeds (bass-male-male-female). Watch the video.
The special feature of this harmonium is that its keyboard remains soft and pleasant to play even after switching on the coupler, and all keys that are included in double playing respond to pressure immediately and at full intensity.
MKS is one of the few harmonium brands in the world that produces such harmoniums. Normally, only scale-changer harmonies are equipped with a quality coupler mechanism.
The harmonium is made of the best teak wood with quality metal parts and bellows. The finish of the wood is made with matte varnish, which gives the instrument a special luxurious look.
The wooden cover allows the harmonium to be played both softly and loudly as necessary... which is clearly shown in the video.
A sturdy black canvas travel bag (pictured) is included in the price and makes the harmonium safe for storage and transport.
The harmonium is new and in perfect condition. It is generally serviced, adjusted, tuned to the 440Hz standard and can be used together with other western instruments, as well as for studio recordings.
