Dear devotees,
please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
My name is Deva das. I'm from Croatia. I've joined ISKCON in late 80's and soon got initiated by Harikesa prabhu.
I have started to travel and help devotees around Europe with harmonium and mridanga repairs about 5 years ago. 850+ harmoniums and 200+ mridangas are repaired till now. A few tampuras and accordions as well.
Before my travels started I had been repairing instruments of local devotees in Croatia and surrounding countries. By Krishna's mercy and devotees' blessings I got the necessary skills step by step by practicing repairs in the last 30 years or so.
The 6 years of the Elementary Music School (playing violine and a bit of piano) and the practical technical skills I got during the 5 years master degree study of the Faculty of Technical Studies in Zagreb helped me a bit as well to cope with the challenges the harmonium repair service has.
